I want to go to Benson, Arizona.
I wish they Included Soylent Green
Tubi… Demon Seed
Need to set VPN's to United States…
– UK… Wont even show you Demon Seed when searching, never mind watch it.
– Other Countries… Tubi wouldn't allow you to see it, it tells you not allowed. I only tested a few places…
– US… Works fine on USA – Ashburn, for me.
I know, and have seen, All of These when they were New!!
The Andromeda Strain was so popular it was homaged/ripped off by The Six Million Dollar Man in the 1974 episode, Population: Zero.
I wish I could get tubi in Europe
Logan's run is a alright movie for brown people like me that is wonder why there's only white people in this dystopia future?
Bullshit channel.
Amazing films for the 1970's
Soylent Green was Very Loosely based on a book by Harry Harrison: Make Room, Make Room. The book was a scathing commentary on the anti-birth control movement. This idea was completely left out in the movie version. After seeing what was made of his book, Mr Harrison refused to sell any of his other works to movie studios. I like both the book and the movie, but they are totally different. Similar situation to Blade Runner and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, by Philip K. Dick.
Andromeda Strain is on TUBI I watched it recently. Still scary!😊
On 4/17/26, these are the only ones on Tubi:
The Crazies 1973.
Dark Star 1974.
Rollerball 1975.
Logan's Run 1976.
Demon Seed 1977
Capricorn One, 1977.
The Boys from Brazil, 1978.
Phantasm 1979.
Zardoz is The Wizard of Oz
ps, a lot of these have already been on Tubi for a while.
And some have never been on Tubi, including Zardoz.
BUT, this just popped on the other day, a great WWII true story everyone should watch
The Dam Busters
Should have mentioned that the ‘Andromeda Strain’ novel that the movie was based on was a best seller.
I just searched some of these on Tubi and these dont show up? I really wanted to see Silent Running. My all time favorite Bruce Dern movie
The Andromeda Strain was a hit movie and a best selling book. Excellent film.
Silent Running and Soylent Green are classics. THX 1138 (one one three eight) is more niche. The Omega Man was an attempt at social commentary using scifi.
Went straight over to TUBI and none of these movies were there, wth!
I did a search for The Andromeda Strain, in Tubi but it didn't come up. Neither was Soylent Green.
Zardoz is a great example of how delightfully weird and chaotic movies got away with being once upon a time.
Phantasm. 😱 Freaked me out
I watched every single one these for a change
I keep looking for Zardoz and it's never there . . .
17:30 Not Logan's Run the movie, that's the TV spin off with Gregory Harrison.
Didn’t think much of these films when they came out, still don’t.
The Andromeda Strain and Capricorn One are both good.
I found Soylent Green just plain disturbing for a long time after seeing it when I was much younger.
These movies are not on Tubi
Hey I appreciate this video bringing these films to my attention but many of them are not actually on tubi, which is a bummer because I wanted to give all of them a watch.
I'm not sure if rollerball really classifies a science fiction
Zardoz is the most original movie I've ever seen❤
This video would have received an upvote from me if not for the AI slop narration.
As a 62 yr old sci fi buff, I've seen all of these movies at least 10 times
A few of these are not on Tubi. NO for The Andromeda Strain, Silent Running, Westworld, Omega Man, Soylent Green. Some of the rest are pretty mediocre. Zardoz is a boor, even Sean Connery panned it in his later years, he only did it to fulfill a contract. Dark Star is more funny and simplistic than it is true sci-fi. The Boys from Brazil is more of a drama than sci-fi.
No they haven't posted them yet.
Silent running is one of the best movies ever made..
God I loved the Phantasm films.
Dark Star is fricking awesome!
