  4. The scenes felt more like the reenactment scenes you get in a bad documentary..but from what ive read about the young filmmaker and budget, fair play to him for putting this together and the people who helped …if you want to watch a ridiculously bad mainstream WW2 themed movie watch Shadow in the Clouds….its so bad its good 😂

  5. Note to the director: in order to make a movie you need actors who can act… These people just read their lines, stiff AF… Unwatchable.

  6. Overall, not bad. Numerous little things the average viewer would never notice – the maple leaf, small uniform mistakes, headgear, filter cigarette, etc. One thing I noticed is the STEN submachine gun that appears around the 1:00:00 mark clearly shows him in a running gun fight through the forest with the bolt closed. The STEN fired from an open bolt, so when you let off the trigger, the gun would stop firing with the bolt open.
