Patricia, the Broadway star, leaves the new show produced by Jimmy Hart who is in love with her. She runs off to California with the wealthy Freddy to get married. Jimmy found out that Patricia and Freddy will be taking the „Streamline Express” which he boards as well. There he gets involved in a diamond theft and is even falsely assused to be the thieve. It was the biggest thing then; slimming-up old fire powered locomotives, bringing them into the modern Deco Era.
They were a lot of fun riding them but, I also liked everything exposed and steaming.
