  1. The constant change of the colors drives me nuts. I’d rather watch it in black and white. The colors are awful anyway. I doubt everything was gray.

  2. This film is a great example for parents and Grand Parents alike to watch and learn what not to do. Children get taken or drown in pools etc, because of the irresponsible, stupid parents leaving their children unattended.

  3. This makes soooo happy! I luv Elizabeth Taylor…. Hav many special framed pictures of her in her youth and as a young adult star ; she was too beautiful and kind for this world; there wi never b another “Liz”…. She is so missed….😢

  4. Joan Bennett was a great partner with Tracy. She was the second best, I think, candidate in the screen tests 4 Scarlett 0'Hara. Much better than Goddard or the others.

  5. What’s amazing is they had pretty much all our advanced gadgets, except that today they are digital, hackable, and less durable.

  6. I wish they wouldn't colour the film….. at times skin on Joan Bennett's arms is grey to match her dress. The suits changed from blue, to grey to brown in one scene alone. Awful.
Please leave the black and white films in Black and White!

  7. Mind the words Kay says at 34:42 and Dr. Nordell at 35:59. Modern brain research has prooven the Nordells of the past were right. Decades of nationwide child neglect have not been without consequences. Today having psychological problems and womenomics are "normal" in the US. We could have known better, but we lost 70 years and we will loose many decades to come before we realize what we did and do to our children.

  8. What a delightful picture! So funny! I've never seen Father of the Bride, which everyone says is superior, but this was terrific: what a great actor Tracy was!
