  1. Everlasting Holmes and Watson with my favourite pairing of Rathbone and Bruce battling with the ever changing Professor Moriarty. The colouring is admirable and the sentiments are greatly appreciated in the circumstances in which we find ourselves in Britain today.

  2. I have been in Sherlock Holmes real apartment in Bakerstreet 221B.

I visited Grenada Studios about 25 years ago, at a lot of the sets for different british tv series was there.
Being in Sherlock Holmes apartment was kinda funny, as I felt like i knew it so well.
    Almost kinda homely

  4. I love these films. 😊😊❤When they say the enemy knows to. In Christianity we do have an enemy Satan, he is not higher then God. But we must be aware of his accusations, evil, oppressive tactics. Jesus is greater. ❤❤Jess

Ec. T😮😮😮😮

  6. I have always loved the Sherlock Holmes with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. The story is contrived and often corny and it is silly that at the end only Watson and Lestade go after Moriarty and Holmes.

But of course one has to keep in mind when this movie was produced. And it does follow the basic theme of the original Sherlock Holmes story as written by Sir Author Conan Doyle in The Dancing Men.

  7. Basil Rathbone one of the Great Sherlock Holmes actors. In my view the best Cinematic portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, only slightly bettered by Jeremy Brett on ITV ( British Television ) which was set in the era that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote. But hey if anyone else says Basil Rathbone is the best, I would say it's a good choice.

  8. According to Wikipedia, about 40,000 Brits were killed by the Blitz during the entire war.
Compare that to the number killed by fire bombs just at Dresden in just a couple of nights.
