  1. I watched many similar videos by western utubers as well who have been living or working in Poland for almost 10 years, polish are cold n reserved not only with indians but also with western people esp when you are comfortable with polish language very few friends you will make

  2. India are parasites invaders dirty ass fucking curry smell dick culture illiterate no civic sense ,liers, abusers indian hate other Indian , indian have abusive grouping other person, piece of shit, uncivilized, dirty ass hole, rapist, scammers, misbehaved, garbage, fucking culture, foolish.

  3. I am not sure what attracts so many irrational Poles here or, for that matter, to any YouTube channel run by a foreigner working in Poland. If you oppose the legal presence of foreigners in Poland, then you should just as loudly oppose the millions of Poles working abroad; otherwise, your fundamental rationality is absent. If your main motivation is “law and order,” then maybe concentrate on the international criminal networks operating in Poland, not on hard‑working individuals who are legally trying to support their loved ones. You don't really have anything better to do with the Internet? In short, if you expect respect, show some.

  4. So you telling me you have been in poland for 7 years still dont speak polish language that’s crazy😳
And you know bro i have been in Turkiye for almost 9 year now i live in Us but Turkish people similar to polish they dont like other especially non turkish they say yabanci yabanci you are outsider, and i can feel this video, take care brother.

  8. I always like Indians who can integrate and understand the ethics and values of the culture and community they moved into . They should try being appreciative of their hospitality. If everything is perfect in India why come over to foreign countries??

  9. Hi bro

  10. "SAD REALITY OF LIVING IN POLAND AS INDIAN | DO NOT COME TO POLAND" — LifeOfUtkarsh

    Channel: LifeOfUtkarsh (116K subscribers) | Length: ~32 minutes | Published: April 18, 2026

Utkarsh is an Indian who went to Poland as a student, graduated, and now works full-time there. He made this video to warn Indians about the harsh realities of living in Poland. Here are the main points:

Main Cons (Why He Says "Don't Come")

    1. Language Barrier

This is the biggest problem. Most people in Poland don't speak English outside of universities.

Daily life tasks — shopping, dealing with government offices, TRC applications, hospitals — all require Polish.

Even after years, if you don't learn Polish, you remain dependent on others for basic things.

    2. Cultural Differences & Cold People

Polish people are described as very cold and distant, especially compared to warm, friendly cultures like India or Latin America.

It's very hard to make genuine Polish friends. Social circles stay separate — locals with locals, foreigners with foreigners.

Small talk is rare; people mind their own business.

    3. Racism & Discrimination

Brown-skinned Indians face regular racism — staring, comments, being treated differently in shops and on public transport.

Police stop brown people more often for "document checks".

Racist incidents are underreported because many people don't know where to complain or fear backlash.

Comments on the video mention "soft racism" and discrimination as a common experience.

    4. Weather & Mental Health

Polish winters last up to 6 months — dark, cloudy, grey, with very little sunlight.

International students from warm countries often suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) — depression, low energy, loss of motivation.

The sun sets as early as 3:30 PM in winter, making everything feel depressing.

    5. TRC (Temporary Residence Card) Problems

TRC processing is extremely slow — delays of 6 months to 2+ years are common.

Since November 2025, voivodeship offices are no longer bound by any deadlines to process TRC applications.

TRC fee increased from 100 PLN to 400 PLN (as of Dec 2025).

If your TRC expires while waiting, you can't travel, can't work legally, and live in uncertainty.

The process has become fully online and stricter since 2025.

    6. Career Growth is Slow

Most Indians end up in low-skill jobs — delivery (UberEats, Wolt), warehouse work, cleaning, restaurant jobs.

Even with a degree, career progression is limited unless you speak fluent Polish.

Comments mention "ultra slow career growth" as a major issue.

IT jobs are the exception — if you have strong tech skills, you can find English-speaking roles.

    7. Food

Polish food is heavy, meat-based, and not Indian-friendly. Limited vegetarian options.

While Indian restaurants exist in big cities (Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan), they are expensive compared to cooking at home.

Finding authentic Indian ingredients requires trips to specific Asian/Indian grocery stores.

    8. Work Permit & Job Market Issues

New rules (June 2025): work permits must be submitted electronically, and there are stricter grounds for refusal.

Employers can be blacklisted if they hire too many foreigners without proper registration.

Getting a job that sponsors your work permit is competitive and often requires Polish language skills.

The Few Pros (Things He Acknowledges as Good)

    Pro Details

Low tuition fees Polish universities are affordable compared to Western Europe

Schengen access Poland is in Schengen, so you can travel across 27 EU countries

Part-time work allowed Students can work up to 20 hrs/week without separate permit

Post-study work After graduation, you can stay for 1 year to find a job

IT sector opportunities If you're in tech, English-speaking jobs exist with decent pay

Low cost of living Rent, food, transport are cheaper than Germany, UK, France

    Key Takeaway from the Video

Utkarsh's core message is: Poland is overhyped as a study destination for Indians. While it looks affordable on paper, the language barrier, racism, slow TRC process, harsh weather, and limited career growth make it a difficult place to build a long-term life — especially for non-IT professionals. He specifically warns that if you're going for microbiology/life sciences (non-IT), the job market is very limited without Polish language.

His advice: If you still want to go, come with realistic expectations, learn Polish seriously, and ideally target the IT sector where English works. For microbiology/life sciences careers, Germany or other Western European countries offer much better opportunities.

  13. Bro poland not like that poland is good country i love poland that my best country i want visit 🇵🇱🇵🇱 other than canada so much india😂😂😂 just joke🤣🤣🤣🤣

  14. So what , indians are everywhere . Please do not ruin eastern europe countries.
Indians don't have civic ethics or manners and are so selfish too. Please do not argue with me , I am telling the truth.

  15. I gonna be honest here and is based on my 15 years of experience having living side be side with India notion. Never ever forever. So many things I have witnessed that I will never ever trust to any one from India. Indian nationa is the only one which i will never trust. 15 years side by side experience
