Too many low-brow, everyman jokey conversations for this to be an effective horror movie.
Low-budget movie, not as bad as I expected. The landscape is too hilly to be Hart island (actually it was filmed near Montreal). The name of the boat pilot, Charon, refers to Greek mythology ( his duty was to ferry over the Rivers Styx and Acheron the souls of the deceased ).
Pretty bad movie. Malcolm Macdowall only good part about it really.
