The did an awful job with the colorization. They all look like zombies! Whydon't theuy leave these movies as they were?

$18 a week ! That doesn’t buy you a decent meal in America these days.
very high level of technique and hidden complexity
Fred ❤

all now dead an gone tho will live with music playing on an on….
thanks for letting me see you swing!!!!!
Was just reading an interview with the dancer Rudolf Nureyev who thought Astaire was a brilliant dancer.
Old, but gold.
Unico Fred❤
I like the movie except the propergander part of two musician trying to outwit each other by putting poison pills into each other's drink, such added story ruins this movie.
Ele sempre foi feio ele e o frank sinatra
I would be happy as a viewer and subscriber of this YouTube channel if you could provide the Roberta 1935
Thank you.
Fabulous cast!! Did you colorize this @cultcinemaclassics ? Thank you 😊
😂👍🤣😂😍💘😘👍
Colorized movies are so annoying. Why bother, when the color is so bizarre.
Der beste Tänzer der Welt.
😊
Paulette Goddard est très belle.
Oh no
So beautiful.
Really cool to see this in colour!
It's like a cartoon. B&W please.
My parents loved him he is and a will be the best.Thank you.
Super! Mulțumesc!
Thanks!
Fred Astaire rime avec extraordinaire ! Je l'adore ❤
Artie was good actor even though he was band leader too
Two talented musicians Danny and Hank ( Fred Astaire, burgess Meredith) compete for a job in Artie Shaw’sprestigous band, and for the affections of their beautiful manager Ellen (Paulette Goddard) they come up with a plan to try and outdo each other to impress Shaw and get into the band! Guess which guy wins out at the end of the flick! Burgess Meredith was a pest in this movie 🍿-he also drove Merle Oberon and Melvyn Douglas nuts in that uncertain feeling! Astaire and Goddard were great and so was Shaw and his band-good to watch! 😊😊😊😊😊❤
AMAZING
I may have the grace as Fred Astaire,
I may not have the mind of Jung.
I can not buy the things you need to have;
But something you can't forget.
I love you.
I used to listen to "I love you" a song by a heavy metal band Saigon kick and i always wonder who the heck is Fred Astaire and Jung. Now i know. Not Jung, i mean.
The world really lost someone very special when Fred Astaire died 😢
I could watch him dance all day 💯❤ Such talent and class. Something the world is in lack of these days 💯😢

Gracias!
These sharpening/smoothing image tweaks make everyone look like wax figures. Look forward to improvements that restore more of the texture.

Originally released by Paramount Pictures in 1940. It was sold to Astor Pictures
Terribile plot. Unreal situation. Awful dialogues. Bigotery at it's top. Anyhow Thanks for posting, It Is an example on how not to make a movie or even how not to write a script.
Merci beaucoup from Paris France for this outstanding historical Hollywood archive! 👍👍👍
