Described as “a rare gem” by IndyRed.com, The Odyssey of Destiny is a post-war romance set in an authoritarian society. This allegorical epic from director Brent Hoover follows Christian (Zach Pappas) and Jen (Katelyn Farrugia) struggling to survive in the aftermath of a ruthless war. Christian is a Renegade soldier longing for peace and the son of the famed Liberator. Jen is an orphaned nurse desperately trying to save children. When the two soul mates are trapped together, their lives are forever entwined.
An international union has risen to power: the Continental 10. Under the control of The Magistrate, the world unites for global peace. Determined to protect his loved ones, Christian takes up his father’s legacy as the Liberator to ensure the survival of his people. However, he uncovers the horrific nature of humanity and realizes his preconceived notion of “good and evil” is not as it seems.

That was an amazing understanding of how deceptive times become when good is called evil and evil is called good…all for the sake of our 'family' supposedly….guess they didn't see the awfulness of parents kicking out children because they didn't follow the party line….guess they didn't understand that our bodies are simply vessels to hold a soul and spirit, and though the body may die, we (the soul and spirit of us) live forever, and that what we choose and do here determines the place we go….guess they didn't see that what the world supports is never the most important thing. I found this an amazingly deep battle between real evil and good (not what the world calls evil and good), and how confusing and personal the process is for each of us, and how we can seem to switch sides depending on what we are putting our Real Faith in. I found it an amazing correlation between why the Israelites from Egypt all died in the desert and why only their young ones and children entered the promise land (those from Egypt carried WAR in their hearts and never wanted to give it up). When 'war' is our safe place, we die slowly, from the inside to the outside, and follow evil to the darkness. Didn't hurt that this appeared to be shot on the coast of NC, which is my birthplace :)….This storyline is emotionally and spiritually close to home for all of us right now; no wonder so many make fun of it….that attitude is your worldly answer to the destruction of this ball we currently call home……but not for long 🙂 <3
THIS MOVIE LEAVES OUR IMAGINATION "OPEN" TO THE IDEA THAT UNDER THE FRAUDULENT "BEJING BIDEN " ANTI-GOD, CONSTITUTION, AND PEOPLE ADMINISTRATION WE MUST PREPARE FOR CIVIL WAR AND MULTIPLE STATE SUCCESSIONS, LIKE "TEXIT," CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS! CIVIL WAR MUST COME AND A LITTLE REVOLUTION IS HEALTHY TO KEEP US ALL "HONEST," IN GOVERNMENT!

Looks like a bunch of friends made this in mum's backyard over a weekend. If they are film students, they are not the best of the bunch. Very wooden acting, the story is weak and full of stereotypes. Thumbs down.
The actors are good 🙂 but the camera angles, close up shots, lighting and sound are distracting me. Most of the shots are beautiful… but almost like they'd go over better as stills…
Could anybody tell me what coat the guy at the beginning is wearing very curious about it….

Totally unexpected…loved this movie..so intense..
