Há muitas décadas eu gostava muito de assistir este tipo de filme. Hoje acho triste que tantas pessoas gostem disto. Trata-se de uma apologia à violência e à justiça com as próprias mãos. Lamentável. Naturalmente considero também Charles Bronson um dos melhores atores de todos os tempos, embora ele mesmo nunca tenha se considerado um talento, porém apenas tenha comercializado seu temperamento introvertido e sua aparência meio bruta. Enfim, vivemos tempos que não podemos mudar.

As a kid in uk every year they’d put on’ the great escape’!!He was the tunnel man, claustrophobic but so brave he would do it anyway because he was so heroic!!I knew even then it was make believe but Charles Bronson was so perfect in his portrayal that he influenced me a thousand times more than any ‘real’ person did!!

They had the scenes, the tools, the actors, the money…and they made Bugs Bunny nonsense!

— Why they didn't lock the machine gun guy into the cell, where the woman was locked up?
— Why he didn't walk with the money?
— The girls set the rocks on fire?
And a bunch more. I don't expect Sherlock Holmes film, but some basic logic …as you can always find in Charles Bronson movies.
