7. This movie would have been really amazing if they caste someone else as the lead actress. The rest of the cast is great. She looks like a thin Annie Lennox and this is not her greatest work… She's so bland. It's a good story, the caste is great, the one thing that doesn't fit is Francoise Surel. I don't understand how they caste her as the lead. I'm not saying she's a bad actress… She'd be fantastic in some other kind of role but this one just didn't suit her… She has no chemistry with the rest of the characters.

31. A fascinating blend of characters and stories. One story fits into the other, to the point of two actors playing roles in both stories. The very appealing Francoise Surel carries the movie and brings the others along with her. Unfortunately, I can't find more than just a few other films in which she appeared. I recommend that no one miss the chance to watch this.

36. Absolutely amazing film! The timing is perhaps even more amazing. I am a writer and I finally finished my first book after 15 years of trying to complete it. I've just started a new book and it is so real to me that it is like I am really there when I am writing it. Sometimes I forget myself and go to it longing to know the ending only to remember there isn't one yet because I am the writer.

Lovely story but I wish it had included something that no American film ever does — I wish Cara had comforted the much older man (Philip Naudet) by making love to him — it's the last prudishness in film making — women and men of vastly different ages — it may be uncommon but it certainly exists. Otherwise, it was a lovely and romantic story — certainly worth watching!
